Transformation
Exhibition
Galerie Neuwirth Taubstummengasse 13, 1040 Wien
9.—14.10.2025
Artists: Felder Ulrike, Neuwirth Katharina
Curator: Ewa Zasada
The exhibition Transformation presents Katharina Neuwirth’s series Red Air and Ulrike Felder’s series Bird, shedding light on processes of change—in society, the environment, politics, and personal experience.
Red Air condenses transformation. Its color palette and compositions evoke upheaval and intensity. The invisible becomes tangible: transformation as an inevitable process, both internal and external.
Bird plays with movement and transition. Fleeting moments capture the tension between freedom and limitation. Bodies and forms seem to dissolve or reconfigure—a state of suspension between lightness and strain.
Both series explore transitions between past and future, order and chaos, individual and collective. Themes such as digitalization, new working worlds, and shifting forms of communication are reflected in the images.
Transformation is an invitation to immerse yourself in these in-between spaces—where the old fades and the new has yet to take shape.
