Personal Space II
Exhibition
Studio Walls Löhrgasse 9/1-3, 1150 Wien
22.—29.10.2025
Artists: Löffelmann Käthe
Curator: Studio Walls
“Personal Space” is an ongoing collaborative photo project by Käthe Löffelmann, in which individuals style the artist as themselves and photograph them in their homes, attempting to recreate their personal essence. This curated yet intimate process fosters exchange, exploring perspectives on identity, style, and self-expression—made tangible through the resulting images.
The exhibition showcases the collaboration’s outcomes through three large poster prints of photos taken by each individual, later curated and edited by the artist. Additionally, each collaboration includes three small analog shots capturing details of their spaces. In previous presentations, the prints were intentionally arranged with slight incoherence to create a more dynamic experience, emphasizing the different visual approaches. In one corner, visitors could also find some of the artist’s personal items and clothing, inviting them to reverse the experience.
