Open Call

Since FOTO WIEN 2021 has been postponed to 2022 due to corona, FOTO WIEN 2022 will take place from 9 to 27 March 2022.

Artists as well as museums, exhibition houses, galleries, off-spaces are invited to present their projects at FOTO WIEN 2022. Please submit your projects and events by 12 September 2021. Only applications submitted via the online form can be considered.

Information programme partners 2021

For those programme partners who have already submitted their project for FOTO WIEN 2021 and have informed the festival office about it, the exhibition information has already been entered into the system. Please log in with the same e-mail address you used to register for the festival 2021. If there are changes to the content of the concept, the project will be submitted again to the jury for evaluation.

The Open Call for the Photobook Exhibition and Photobook Award is extended.

Due to the Covid-19 developments, FOTO WIEN 2021 and with it the Photobook Exhibition and the Photobook Award have been postponed to 2022. To take into account the books that have been published in the course of the last year, FOTO WIEN in cooperation with OstLicht. Galerie für Fotografie once again invites photographers, artists and publishers to submit their photobooks published in 2021 for the exhibition. All books originally submitted for FOTO WIEN 2021 will now be taken into consideration for the Photobook Exhibition and Photobook Award 2022.

From among all submissions outstanding publications will be selected for the Photobook Exhibition, which will be on display at the FOTO WIEN Festival Centre from 9 to 27 MARCH 2022. From the photobooks shown in the exhibition, the jury will select the winners for the FOTO WIEN Photobook Award 2022. The first place will be awarded a prize money of € 1.500, the second and third place will receive € 750 each. The FOTO WIEN Photobook Award 2022 is sponsored by OstLicht. Galerie für Fotografie.
