The mdw, the leading university of music, explores the question of music’s role in a constantly changing society and the challenges that are in store for music production of the future. The exhibition investigates topics including synesthesia, the relevance of music, dementia, building new audiences, artistic research, and the impact of AI, taking advantage of the mdw’s creativity and scholarship. “Sound of Insight” offers a sensuous experience as well as foregrounding the results of scholarly research and reflects the possibilities that the mdw offers in teaching, research, and pedagogy.
