“Esiod 2015” (2016) is a percent-for-art project of the Erste Group at the Erste Campus that, following the artist’s concept, is to be shown at the Erste Campus once every year until 2051. The thirty-eight-minute science fiction film, which was shot in 2015 and 2016 on and near the Erste Campus, tells the story of a young woman who returns to Vienna in 2051 to close her bank account. In addition to money data, the account also contains digital data of memories and personal information. The young woman is not recognized by the computer system and has to endure a “memory check.”
