An evening combining aesthetics and science – with mushrooms as cultural mirrors, ecological actors, and fascinating border crossers of our perception.
The evening will be kicked off by Alison Pouliot, ecologist, photographer, and author of the recently published books Funga Obscura and Mushroom Day. The following contribution will be given by Mag. Eva Fauma. In her lecture, she will present selected mushroom species, explain their pharmacologically active ingredients, and use concrete case studies to show how mushrooms are used in modern TEM – in a practical, well-founded, and inspiring way.
