4 Mal Körper
Exhibition
Litfaßsäulen Wien / Kunstuniversität Linz Gegenüber Obere Augartenstraße 47, 1020 Wien
1.—29.10.2025
Artists: Lehner Tessi, Liz & Ley, Matern Alisa, Tilbury Robert
Curator: Christa Amadea, Anna Artaker
This exhibition consists of works by artists who explore individual areas that result from a personal exploration of objects, bodies, and things encountered in everyday life through repetition of a routine. For the most part taken for granted and integrated in the quotidian, these things are now examined, explored visually, and metamorphosed in a process in which the artist’s body mirrors the specific questions in a special way, giving it a role that is assigned to the body in a ritual act. Clichés are presented as visual quotes, and the focus on shame is foregrounded. By recontextualizing shame, the space is reconfigured, posing new questions and initiating movement. Encounters with the future are conceivable.
Second Location: Opernring 4, 1010 Wien
