“The people are more ephemeral than the clothes.” (Tilda Swinton)
Clothing often exists longer than the body that it once enveloped. What happens when clothes suddenly lose their corporal form and float freely in space? What hidden messages are sent by patterns, colors, and textures when humans are missing?

The project views clothing as a living substance that has its own existence like every living being: it is created, it ages, and it disappears. Inspired by Donna Haraway (“Staying with the Trouble” and “A Cyborg Manifesto”), the work challenges visitors to reconsider living with all living beings—people, animals, plants, technological systems, and things. Clothing—like all things—takes up space, has an impact on our environment, and influences us in a subtle way.

The exhibition includes photographs of flying clothes, objects (mobiles with photographs), and collages that encourage reflection on how we view humans and things, how we consume, and how we live together. By playing with perspectives, the project opens new ways of seeing everyday relationships between humans and materials.
