Marielis Seyler: ALL PLASTIC
Exhibition
Lukas Feichtner Galerie Seilerstätte 19, 1010 Wien
9.10.—8.11.2025
Artists: Seyler Marielis
Photo artist Marielis Seyler show plastic waste in a familiar environment: the aesthetic impression of the images is dramatically changed by the sudden appearance of pieces of plastic, making us aware of the extreme danger it poses to all living organisms on this planet.
The message of these images encourages us to reconsider our attitude toward plastic, to be more careful about our use of plastic and how we deal with plastic waste, and to change our opinion in such a way that we will modify our behavior after visiting the exhibition and encourage others to do so as well.
Due to omnipresence of plastic and especially due to the catastrophic environmental pollution caused by tiny, microscopic plastic particles, known as microplastics and nanoplastics, the exhibition aims to send an unmistakably clear message to politicians to remove plastic from the environment and to take measures to prevent plastic from entering the environment in the future.
