In 1947 the bibliopedagogical research center was opened by Pater Castor and his experimental school. Under Paul Faucher it issued the photobook series “Le Montreur d’images,” which was published by the publisher Flammarion. Between 1947 and 1958 ten volumes were published that were dedicated to presenting nature through photography. Faucher worked with the photographer Robert-Henri Nouailles and his wife, who shared his passion for the aesthetic and scientific exploration of nature. The photographs shown in the exhibition are selected works from the archive that resulted from the book series and include pictures from the 1950s.
