Scientific collections at the NHM Vienna – Spirit collections: Some of the 3D photos by Sebastian Cramer feature specimens of plants that were pickled in alcohol for preservation. In this behind the scenes tour, participants will see some of the preparations in alcohol held in the museum’s botanical and fish collections, hear about the expeditions during which they were collected, and research and education they enable. With Tanja M. Schuster and Bettina Riedel.
