The future is not an established state but a fragile projection that is in constant transformation, full of cracks, distortions, and uncertainties. In a world in which digital technologies form our perception of reality and identity, “Archive of Uncertainties” questions photography as a medium between documentation and speculation. Every image is a fragment, an incomplete archive, that both records and obliterates. Analog forms of storage encounter simulations; historical photographs meet algorithmic constructions. While classical photography saves memories, AI creates synthetic futures—what is left when the lines between original and manipulation dissolve, making it necessary to constantly renegotiate that which is considered “true.” In this exhibition, glitches are confronted with algorithmic perfection, and postdigital imagery challenges our visual habits. Bodies appear to be torn between reality and virtual construction. Identities are handled in a speculative way, while questions about gender, power, and representation are redefined in a visual cultural in transformation.
